Frequency of the Board and Advisory Board Meetings:

1. The FCS members interact with Director and College Management Board once a quarter through Core Committee meetings and on Budget Meetings every year. In addition, the meeting is convened as required any time for important decisions.

2. College Management Board meets twice a month which is attended by Directors of KIET, IPEC and KEC.

3. Governing Council meets twice a year.

5) Criteria for Scholarships: The College has attractive scholarship philosophy and even in the nascent years it distributes scholarships worth about Rs 1 lakh. With AICTE reducing the FDR from 50 to 35 Lakhs, portion of the balance 15 Lakhs will be utilized for additional scholarships in future.

CRITERIA :
The current approved policy for scholarships is as follows

Students figuring in top 10 ranks of UPTU every year (based on two semesters of the year, for all years) are exempted from tuition fee for the next year. This amounts to roughly Rs 70,000 per student.

Students scoring an aggregate of 70% or above in each year based on two semester results are given cash awards of Rs 100 per % above 70. 75% fetches Rs 500, 82% fetches Rs 1200 and so on.

6) Hostel Fees: Rs 40,000 per annum (including boarding and lodging). Charged in installments in respect of needy cases.

X. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission Test :

All the admissions except management quota are made through State Engineering Entrance Test conducted by
U.P.T.U. (SEE- UPTU), IET Campus, Sitapur Road Lucknow every year .

Last date for application of admission
First week of July every year depending upon the counseling by the SEE – UPTU
Last date for submission of application
Mid of July every year depending upon the University guidelines in this respect.

within 2-3 days after announcing results.

Refund of fee in case of withdrawal
Till the admission is not confirmed by the Institute, any time student can withdraw his / her provisional admission with refund of full fee deposited by him / her. After confirmation of the admission and acceptance, no fee shall be refunded in case of withdrawal of admission by the candidate
